This release includes compliance updates for Plan Management invoicing, DEX and the 2025 NDIS pricing rules.
Changes include:
- Improved invoice addressing for Plan-Managed Clients,
- DEX Assistance Items Changes, and
- Therapy services Travel charging capped to 50% of the service rate.
Improved invoice addressing for Plan-Managed Clients
To better support invoicing for Plan Management Providers, we’ve updated the invoice template for clients with a Plan Manager. Invoices are now addressed to the client, care of (c/o) the Plan Manager, aligning with industry expectations and addressing feedback received from plan managers. This change ensures clearer communication and improved acceptance of invoices.
DEX Assistance Items Changes
DEX reporting requirements as per Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) 2025–27 extension resources are changing, effective from 1 July 2025.
For these changes we’re:
- introducing new pick-list options and translations for Assistive Items (Extra Items) for Home Modifications. Providers are required to report Assistance Items (
ASSISTANCEITEM) which cover the purchase of Home Modifications. To enable this we have included the below values on the Assistance Items fields across Lumary, including Service Delivered, Planned Services and Extract Items:
- Toileting products
- Bathroom products
- Light fixtures
- Supporting rails and grab bars
- Construction elements in homes
- Vertical accessibility
- Safety equipment for homes and other premises
- Furniture for storage
- Mechanical products for operation and controlling devices
- Gate, door, window and curtain openers/closers
- Electronic products for operation and controlling devices
We have also introduced new DEX Translations records for the above Assistance Items.
Therapy services Travel charging capped to 50% of the service rate
Due to the July 2025 NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, this release includes the July 2025 services and rates changes, and we have made improvements to apply 50% rates when billing provider travel labour time (mins) for therapy supports. This will apply automatically when SDs with a Claim Type of Provider Travel (TRAN) are generated for applicable therapy services.
