This article describes the features and benefits of Lumary's NDIA integration module, which connects with the NDIA's API (Application Programming Interface) to automatically create service bookings in the NDIA's myplace portal from bookings made in Lumary CM.
Lumary has developed a solution with the appropriate level of access and security for all customers that require integration with the NDIA to automate service bookings. Lumary's NDIA integration module allows users to automatically make service bookings and service booking amendments in the NDIA's myplace portal from Lumary CM service agreements. The module will also validate that participants created in Lumary CM exist in the myplace portal.

While working in Lumary CM, users can choose which service agreements automatically create service bookings with the NDIA. This is achieved by interacting with a few simple new settings that are incorporated into the current service agreement creation process in Lumary CM.
Using the NDIA integration module, service bookings will automatically be:
- created in the myplace portal when a new service booking is created on a service agreement in Lumary CM. Service bookings can be made at category level for open bookings, line item level for stated line items or using any combination allowed by the participant's NDIA plan, and
- amended in the myplace portal when a service booking is amended on a service agreement.
When a new contact is created in Lumary CM, the module will validate that the participant is known to the NDIA.
The NDIA integration module currently only automates the creation of service bookings in the NDIA's myplace portal. Automated claiming is not currently supported.
Service booking creation in the myplace portal currently involves a user manually creating the booking in Lumary CM and then repeating this process in the myplace portal. Lumary's NDIA integration solution uses the NDIA API to automatically take service booking data straight from Lumary CM in real time and can save users a significant amount of time by:
- removing the need to manually enter service booking data twice, and
- reducing the time spent troubleshooting errors where manually entered service bookings don't match the data entered into Lumary CM.
