Lumary AH - This article explains how to complete allied health appointments.
Completing an appointment in Lumary AH generates service delivered records (SD), which are used for claiming. You can complete an appointment:
- directly from your My Day View, or
- from one of the various calendars, including the Appointments Scheduler and the calendars on the client's or worker's record.
Complete an appointment from your My Day View
If you use the My Day View, you can use the Check In and Check Out feature to record the start and completion of each appointment. Simply:
- Click on the My Day View tab.
- Find the appointment on the appointments panel.
- Click on Check In to start the appointment.
- This will launch an Appointment Check In popup. Click on the Close button to go back to your My Day View.
- Once you've delivered the service, go back to your My Day View.
- Click on Check Out.
- Add any details about the service to the Appointment Worker Check Out form. This may include the number of attendees, apportionment and/or travel and transport details.
- Click on the Confirm button.
This will generate SD records for claiming any services that were set up for the appointment. You can also add a case note by clicking Add Note on the appointment and filling in each section.
Complete an appointment from a calendar
Appointments can also be completed from calendars. Depending on your role and level of access, you can complete your own appointments, or appointments for other workers. Calendars can be launched from the:
- Calendar button in your My Day View
- Appointments Scheduler tab in the navbar, or
- View/Add Appointments button on a client's or worker's record.
Once you find the appointment on a calendar:
- Click on the appointment to open its details panel.
- Click on the appointment subject text link at the top of the panel. This will open the appointment's session record.
- Click on the Complete button at the top of the session record. You may need to click on the drop-down arrow to find it.
- This will open a Complete Appointment form. Add any details about the service, which may include the number of attendees, apportionment and/or travel and transport details.
- Click on the Confirm button.
The status of the appointment will be updated to Complete. If you click on the Invoicing and Payments tab, you can view SD records generated for the session in the Services Delivered section. You can also add a case note by clicking Add Case Note at the top of the record and filling in each section.
