Lumary AH - This article explains how to add a new rate type.
A rate type determines how a particular type of rate is handled by the system. It can be used to group rates together that have the same requirements. All rates in Lumary AH require a rate type.
If you're setting up a new rate for a service and need to add a new rate, you can click on the plus sign in the Rate Type drop-down list and start at step 3. However, we recommend searching this field for your rate type before adding a new one.
To add a new rate type:
- Click on the Reference Data tab. You may need to click on the App Launcher nine dot icon and search for Reference Data.
- This will open the Reference Data list view. Click on the New button.
- Select the Rate Type record type.
- Click Next.
- This will open the Rate Type Information form. Enter the details of your new rate type.
The following table explains each of the fields on the Rate Type Information form. Fields with a red asterisk are mandatory. Some fields displayed in your environment may be different, depending on:
- how it has been set up for your business processes, and
- what types of funding you typically claim from.
