Lumary AH - This article explains how to automatically send multiple invoices.
Once you generate your invoices, they're ready to distribute. While you can do this from the extract record, the quickest way to distribute bulk invoices is to post them on the same day they were generated. To do this:
- Click on the Invoices tab. You may need to click on the App Launcher nine dot icon and search for Invoices.
- The default list view is Recently Viewed. Click on the Select a List View drop-down arrow next to the view and select Bulk Invoices Generated Today.
- This will list all of the invoices you've generated today but haven't posted. Put a tick in the checkbox at the start of the row for all of the invoices you'd like to send out.
- Use this list to check that the email addresses are correct before posting the invoices. An email address can be changed by navigating to the linked billing account or billing contact.
- Hover over the Status field of any of your selected items and click on the pencil icon.
- Use the drop-down list to select the Posted status.
- Put a tick in the Update checkbox to apply the status to all of your selected items.
- Click on the Apply button.
- Click on the Save button.
An email will be generated and sent to the appropriate debtor for all of the invoices you selected. Copies of the tax invoice receipts will be attached to the invoice (INV) records under Items, in the Files section. The date and time of the email being sent will be populated on the invoice, and a copy of the email will appear in the Invoices Activity feed.
