Lumary AH - This article describes permission sets and how to assign them to an individual user.
The profile establishes the base level of accessibility for a user. Each user can only be assigned one profile. Permission sets extend the level of access provided for different types of users. This allows us to make sure that users can access the parts of the system they need without being overwhelmed by functionality that they don't or shouldn't use.
This article explains how to assign one or more permission sets to a single user. Find out how to assign a permission set to multiple users.
