Find out more about each of the steps in our brief summaries at the end of the article.
Set up your business
The first step in claiming NDIS funds is setting up your business profile in CM Lite. This involves adding your business details, as well as creating your users and adding plan managers.
Add client records
Once you’ve set up your business, the next step will be to add your client records. You'll need to add the client’s contact details, details of their disability, and their NDIS number, as well as any contacts of the client.
Add service agreements
After adding your client records you'll need to generate service agreements for these clients. Service agreements determine the support categories to be delivered to a client and must be approved by the client before services can be claimed. Once a service agreement has been created and approved, services can be delivered against it.
Schedule appointments
Once a client service agreement has been approved, appointments can be scheduled to deliver services outlined in the agreement. Once these appointments have been completed, service delivery records will automatically be created, ready for extraction/invoicing and claiming.
Generate service deliveries
If a service does not require an appointment to be scheduled, then a service delivery record can be generated directly. These records need to be approved by the client and will then be ready for extraction/invoicing to claim funds.
Claim funds
Once service delivery records have been generated, you can create extracts or invoices to claim funds, depending on how a client’s plan is managed.
