Lumary AH - This article explains how users can manage appointments using the mobile experience.
The allied health mobile experience shows users a simpler version of the appointment page. This simpler version contains information about the appointment and its attendees.
It also has options for launching related actions, including:
- starting and stopping travel
- starting and stopping the appointment
- viewing the client's record, and
- adding and updating a case note.

This article explains how to:
Track travel to an appointment
From the Mobile Lumary Home page, you can open and track travel to appointments. There are two parts to tracking travel to an appointment:
- starting travel, and
- ending travel.
To start travel to an appointment:
- Go to the Mobile Lumary Home page.
- Tap on the name of the appointment.
- Tap on the Start Travel To button at the top of the appointment.
- The Start Travel To screen will open, showing two options -
- Not Ready Yet - which cancels the starting of travel, and
- Start Travel - which will capture your start travel time and location.
- Location sharing - When you start travel, you may be prompted to share your location. This is so we can automate the calculation of the distance you travelled. This doesn't keep tracking your live location, a single capture of your current GPS location is saved upon tapping to start travel.
- Save - The screen should refresh and show a confirmation message. You may need to refresh the appointment screen for the actions to refresh at the top of the page.
Once you arrive at the appointment, you can capture the time and location where the travel ended.
To end travel to an appointment:
- Tap on the End Travel To button at the top of the appointment.
- The End Travel To screen will open, showing two options -
- Not Ready Yet - which cancels the ending of travel, and
- End Travel - which will capture your end travel time and location.
- Location sharing - When you end travel, you may be prompted to share your location. This is so we can automate the calculation of the distance you travelled. This doesn't keep tracking your live location, a single capture of your current GPS location is saved upon tapping to end travel.
- Confirm travel details - You can use the confirmation screen to confirm or adjust your travel details for time and distance.
- Expenses - If you have any expenses to add, select Add Expenses, otherwise select No Expenses.
- Tap on Save - The screen should refresh and show a confirmation message. You may have to refresh the appointment screen for the actions to refresh at the top of the page.
Check in and out of appointments
From the Mobile Home Page, you can also track the time an appointment started and ended. There are two parts to tracking the duration of an appointment:
To check into an appointment:
- Tap on the Start Session button at the top of the appointment.
- The Start Session screen will open, showing two options -
- Not Ready Yet - which cancels starting the appointment, and
- Start Session - which captures your start (check in) time.
- Save - The screen should refresh and show a confirmation message. You may have to refresh the appointment screen for the actions to refresh at the top of the page.
- Status change - The status of the appointment should then update to In Progress in blue.
To check out of an appointment:
- Tap on the End Session button at the top of the appointment.
- The End Session screen will open, showing two options -
- Not Ready Yet - which cancels the ending of the appointment, and
- End Session - which captures your end (check out) time.
- Save - The screen should refresh and show a confirmation message. You may have to refresh the appointment screen for the actions to refresh at the top of the page.
- Status change - The status of the appointment should then update to Complete in green.
Manage case notes and clients
From an appointment, you can:
To add or update a case note:
- Go to the Mobile Lumary Home page.
- Tap on the name of the appointment.
- Tap on the Update/Add Note button at the top of the appointment to begin.
To view a client's details:
- Go to the Mobile Lumary Home page.
- Tap on the name of the appointment.
- Clients attending the appointment are listed under the Clients header on the appointment. You may need to tap on the heading to reveal the list of clients. If the client has any alerts, a prompt will show you how many.
- Tap on the client's name to go to their record. If the client has alerts, this screen will provide more information about them.
