Lumary AH - This article explains how to update a case note on an allied health appointment.
There are many situations where therapists/clinicians want to create a case note before an appointment occurs, such as to plan the session. Once the session has occurred, these case notes need to be updated to capture the outcome and progress details.
To update a case note on a calendar appointment:
- Go to the appointment on your My Day View, the appointment page or through the mobile experience. Open the case note from the -
- My Day View by clicking the Update Note button on the appointment on your appointment list
- appointment page by clicking on the Add Case Note button, or
- appointment page on the mobile experience by tapping on the Add/Update Note button.
- If a case note has already been recorded by you on the appointment, you'll get an option to update or add a case note. Click on or tap the Update option.
- A table will list previously created case notes, including the notes related to the client. Put a tick in the checkbox to select the note to update.
- Click on the Next button.
- This will take you through a series of screens that show different fields, depending on your case note template. The following table includes examples of some of these screens and fields. As you complete each screen, click on the Next button to move to the next one.
Field | Purpose |

Case Note | This is the body of the case note and will show any text you previously entered. |
Goal Attainment Scale | For each goal associated with the original case note, you can update the GAS. |
- Click on the Save button.
