Lumary 22 minor release 2
Available from: 25/03/2025
Version: 22.53.1
We're deploying Lumary 22 minor release 2 to production environments. We've added the following improvements and fixes:
- capture categories from Notices of Impairment for clients
- new setting to send open claims to Xero
- Transfer SD not picking up parent service delivered (SD) records with child SD records
- session addresses not updating appropriately
- issues creating SD records for agreements with unrestricted categories
- centre capital cost (CCC) SD records incorrectly generating, and
- introduction of the Lumary Connector package.
Capture categories from Notices of Impairment for clients
We've introduced the ability to record NDIS impairment categories for participants. A new Impairment Categories field has been added to enquiry, intake and client records, allowing organisations to capture this information when provided by participants. Find out more about Notices of Impairment.
If your organisation uses custom page layouts and/or Lightning record pages, you can add the new field by following the guidance in these articles:
- Identify a customised record layout and add a field, and
- Identify a customised Lightning page layout and add a field.
To support this feature, we've made updates to the permission sets shown in the following table. If you have custom or cloned permission sets that include these objects, we recommend that you add these permissions.
Permission set | Object | Field | Permission |
---|---|---|---|
Lumary - Advanced | Contact | Impairment Categories | Read, Edit |
Enquiry | Impairment Categories | Read, Edit | |
Lumary - Basic | Contact | Impairment Categories | Read, Edit |
Enquiry | Impairment Categories | Read, Edit | |
Lumary - Standard | Contact | Impairment Categories | Read, Edit |

New setting to send open claims to Xero
For environments integrated with Xero, you can now control which NDIS extract items are sent to Xero based on their claim status. Using the new NDIS Claim Statuses for Finance Systems setting, you can specify whether open claims, successful claims, or both should be sent to Xero. For example, if you want to send open claims as well as successful claims, you can use the new NDIS Claim Statuses for Finance Systems setting to achieve this.
Find out more about setting claim statuses to include for Xero integration.
We've made updates to the permission set shown in the following table. If you have custom or cloned permission sets for extracts, we recommend that you add these permissions.
Permission set | Type | Added |
---|---|---|
Lumary - Extracts | Custom Metadata Type | enrtcr.Extract Override |
Visualforce Page Access | enrtcr.ExtractGenerateSendFileXero |
Transfer SD not picking up parent SD records with child SD records
We've resolved an issue that prevented parent service delivered (SD) records with associated child SD records from being selected during the Transfer SD process. This issue only affected SD records linked to unrestricted categories.
Session addresses not updating appropriately
An issue preventing session address updates for clients with more than 101 future sessions has been fixed. Previously, if a client’s home address was updated, future sessions at their home location would not reflect the address change. Now, address updates will apply correctly, even when a large number of future sessions are scheduled.
To check if there are impacted existing sessions in your environment, you can run the Check client session address mismatch report from the Lumary Reports folder. If any clients are returned on the report, open the client record and update an address field (e.g. change the Country from AU to Australia, or change Ave to Avenue) and save your change. This will trigger an update of the address on future sessions scheduled at the client’s home location.
Issues creating SD records for agreements with unrestricted categories
We've fixed a bug that prevented users from selecting categories and line items in the Service Delivery Entry screen for unrestricted categories when the SD date matched the start date of the service agreement or line item.
Centre capital cost (CCC) SD records incorrectly generating
We've resolved a bug where service delivered (SD) records were incorrectly setting Charge Centre Capital Cost to TRUE, sometimes leading to the creation of invalid centre capital cost (CCC) child SDs. CCC SD records will now only be generated when the associated service agreement, service and site allow for CCC, and the Claim Type of the parent SD record is Face-to-Face (i.e., blank) or Cancellation.
Additionally, we've improved how CCC SD records are linked when multiple CCC line items exist within a service agreement’s support category. Now, CCC SD records will be correctly assigned based on the delivery date and site, ensuring they are linked to the appropriate line item.
Introduction of the Lumary Connector package
This release includes the installation of a mandatory package called Lumary Connector. This package is essential for ensuring seamless upgrades, automated rate updates and reducing manual steps during deployments. By implementing Lumary Connector, we aim to streamline the update process and enhance system efficiency.
Lumary 22 minor release 1
Available from: 10/2/2025
Version: 22.19
We've deployed Lumary 22 minor release 1 to production environments. We've added improvements and fixes to support:
- API version updates
- Related Files sorting
- Transfer SD with an email alert
- merging travel service agreement items
- editing unlinked SD records
- session completion, cancellation, or deletion
- Skedulo cancellations
- risk related alerts
- Easy Employer site and shift linking, and
- Beds Calendar filtering and allocations.
API version updates
We've updated the API versions of all Apex classes, Apex triggers, Aura and LWC components, and Visualforce pages in the Lumary package to version 61. This update ensures compatibility with the Salesforce Spring ’25 release, scheduled for deployment on February 11, and supports the activation of the mandatory Salesforce ICU Locales feature.
This update is essential to prevent potential disruptions, such as ParseException errors (e.g., "Invalid Date and Time"). While these errors do not affect data integrity, they can impact user experience.
Find out more about the Salesforce JDK locale format retirement and the Enable ICU Locale Formats release update.
Related Files sorting
We've enhanced the Related Files feature to display the most recent files first. When users navigate to the Related Files tab on contact records, files are now sorted in descending order based on their associated date. Filtered results also follow this updated sorting logic, ensuring quick access to the latest files.
Find out how to view and manage files from a client or worker’s record.
Transfer SD email alert
We've improved the Transfer SD feature to enhance auditability and tracking. When service delivered (SD) records are unlinked from extracts during the Transfer SD process, an email notification is sent.
This email includes details of the unlinked SD records and their associated extract items. Notifications are sent to the email addresses specified in the Apex Exception Email or External Email Addresses fields in your environment's setup.

Merging travel service agreement items
We've resolved an issue where some users encountered a "New records cannot be registered as dirty" error when attempting to save and merge travel or transport service agreement items. Users can now successfully merge travel service agreement items upon save without any errors.
Find out how to add NDIS travel and transport as separate service agreement items.
Editing unlinked SD records
We've fixed an issue affecting customers with the Prevent Delivered Record Modification option enabled in Lumary Settings. Previously, users were incorrectly prevented from editing service delivered (SD) records that were unlinked from NDIS extracts during the Unlink Errors process.
Users can now modify SD records that were previously extracted, provided the linked extract item (Current NDIS Extract or Financial Extract fields on the SD record) has been removed from the SD record.
Find out how to unlink errors from an NDIS extract results file.
Session completion, cancellation, or deletion
We've resolved an issue that caused a "Too Many query rows: 50001" error when users attempted to delete, cancel, or complete sessions. This occurred when the session had a worker associated with a large number of related records. Users can now complete these actions without encountering this error.
Skedulo Cancellations
We've fixed an issue for organisations using Skedulo, ensuring that cancellations for NDIS services under the Clear Business Days cancellation policy reference the site on the associated job service item—rather than the site on the job—when determining whether cancellation service delivered (SD) records should be generated.
Risk related alerts
We've fixed an issue for users creating or updating a risk record with the Display as Alert checkbox ticked but no details value, so that the associated alert record will now display the risk’s domain and sub-domain as part of the alert details on the client's record.
Find out how to add risks and display them as alerts.
Easy Employer site and shift linking
We've updated our Easy Employer integration to enhance data visibility for workers using the Lumary Mobile App.
When a worker is assigned to a shift with a session in Easy Employer, the site associated with that shift in Easy Employer will now be linked to the corresponding shift created in Lumary, making it visible within the app.
Beds Calendar
We've improved the filtering behaviour of the Beds Calendar when displaying bed allocation records, ensuring more accurate and consistent results.
We've also resolved an issue where some bed allocations were not displayed on the Beds Calendar for organisations with a large number of records. Bed allocations should now display reliably, regardless of record volume.
