This release includes improvements for:

- incorporating the impacts of public holidays on Service Agreement Line Items,
- PMHC non-mandatory reporting requirements,
- updates for DEX extracts,
- NDIS July 2025 NDIS price guide changes, and

Reset Sessions that have been completed or cancelled
To provide better flexibility with session management for providers that do not have Easy Employer integration, we have introduced new features for modifying sessions when they are in certain statuses, which will reduce effort for providers to correct errors:
- Reset Sessions - When sessions have a status of Completed or In-Progress, you can now reset the session back to Rostered so you can make necessary amendments, and then re-complete. This process will also delete the session’s associated SDs, which means it cannot be used if associated SDs have already been extracted.
- Undo Cancellations - When sessions are accidentally cancelled or cancelled with the wrong details, you can now revert the session back to Rostered and make the required changes, and either re-cancel or complete. This will also delete associated SDs, which means it cannot be used if associated SDs have been extracted.
- Re-completing Sessions - If sessions have been reset, any previously recorded travel, transport and apportionment values will be retained and displayed when re-completing the session from the session record. These values can be amended, cleared or added, so that re-completing the session generates new SDs for accurate billing. If sessions are re-completed on the new Lumary CM mobile solution in the Salesforce app, previously recorded travel, transport and apportionment values will be overwritten by the worker’s new values.
To grant access to the Reset Session and Undo Cancellation features, you’ll need to assign the Lumary - Additional Session Features permission set to relevant users.
If this feature is not available for you, please submit a support request to have this feature added to your custom Session page.
To support this feature, we've made updates to the permission sets shown in the following table. If you have custom or cloned permission sets that include these objects, we recommend that you add these permissions.
Permission set | Object | Field | Permission |
---|---|---|---|
Lumary - Advanced | Session | Is Easy Employer | Read |
Lumary - Basic | Session | Is Easy Employer | Read |
Lumary - Standard | Session | Is Easy Employer | Read |

Incorporate impacts of public holidays on Service Agreement Line Items
We have introduced a new feature that lets you specify how public holidays affect quantity calculations as well as automatic Service Delivered (SD) generation based on the line item's frequency pattern.
If the line item's site has a linked Public Holiday Calendar, you can select one of these options:
- Not affected by public holidays - Public holidays do not impact quantity calculations or SD generation (current default behaviour).
- No service on public holidays - Public holidays are excluded from quantity calculations, and no SDs are generated for those days.
- Only on public holidays - Only public holidays count toward quantity calculations, and SDs are generated exclusively for those days.
Additional notes:
- Leaving the Public Holiday Impact field blank defaults to "Not affected by public holidays" behaviour.
- If no Public Holiday Calendar is linked to the site, only the "Not affected by public holidays" option is available.
It is important that confirmed future Public Holiday Days are added to your Public Holiday Calendars, in order to calculate accurate quantities and generate correct SDs when using this feature.
Find out how to link a site to a public holiday calendar, and add public holidays to a public holiday calendar.
We've made updates to the permission set shown in the following table. If you're using custom or cloned permission sets, we recommend that you add these permissions.

PMHC non-mandatory reporting requirements
For organisations that generate PMHC extracts, due to changes in reporting requirements in v4.1, we have added a column to the PMHC extracts files below.
Data is not mandatory for these columns, so these will not be populated for now, but the addition of the columns should allow organisations to upload their files successfully.

organisations.csv | sites |
service-contacts.csv | service_contact_site |
Updates for DEX extracts
For DEX Extract changes we are:
- supporting DEX Outlet Activity IDs for Site Service/Programs in order to report within the new structure,
- generating a distinct Case ID for each Node in the DEX Extract for each Outlet Activity Lumary will now concatenate the Case Id and the Outlet Activity ID. (e.g. FSCC-000100_12345 or SAI-00003547_12345), and
- introducing new pick-list options and translations for Assistive Items (Extra Items) for Home Modifications, as per Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) 2025–27 extension resources, effective from 1 July 2025. Providers are required to report Assistance Items (
ASSISTANCEITEM
) which cover the purchase of Home Modifications. To enable this we have included the below values on the Assistance Items fields across Lumary, including Service Delivered, Planned Services and Extract Items:
- Toileting products
- Bathroom products
- Light fixtures
- Supporting rails and grab bars
- Construction elements in homes
- Vertical accessibility
- Safety equipment for homes and other premises
- Furniture for storage
- Mechanical products for operation and controlling devices
- Gate, door, window and curtain openers/closers
- Electronic products for operation and controlling devices
We have also introduced new DEX Translations records for the above Assistance Items.
Check out our article to find out more about managing an Outlet Activity for DEX-reported funding.
NDIS July 2025 price guide changes
Due to the July 2025 NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, this release includes the July 2025 services and rates changes, and we have made improvements to apply 50% rates when billing provider travel labour time (mins) for therapy supports. This will apply automatically when SDs with a Claim Type of Provider Travel (TRAN) are generated for applicable therapy services.

Guidance for regression testing Lumary 23
For customers wishing to complete regression testing in line with this release, we’ve outlined system areas where testing may be beneficial, particularly if your environment includes custom configurations or permission sets that could be impacted.
This release is considered Low Risk as the impacted areas are either rarely customised, can only be modified through Lumary-managed package changes or are opt-in additional features.
-
System Area: Service Agreement Item – Quantity Calculation Logic
The logic used by Lumary to calculate quantities on new or edited Service Agreement Items has been updated. While it's unlikely that this part of the system has been customised in your environment, we recommend verifying expected behaviour if any custom logic or overrides exist. -
System Area: PMHC CSV Generation
Changes have been made to the format of the CSV files for the PMHC extract. As with the above, customisations in this area are rare. -
System Area: Travel Service Delivery Creation
The logic has changed for the child Service Delivery creation related to Travel SDs to incorporate the claiming of only 50% of the rate for certain services. -
System Area: DEX Extract File generation
The logic has changed for generating DEX Extracts and the related Case Ids.
