NDIS funding |
Overview |
To assist providers claiming and managing NDIS funding, we’ve: |
Funding management in service agreements |
This release gives providers more flexible options for managing funding changes:
Providers will now be able to start delivering services from an agreement and continue to make funding changes up until they begin claiming and/or invoicing for services. For financial extracts, this feature checks the value in the Financial Extract field on the SD record. If you're using custom fields to store extract information on SD records, they won't be considered extracted when checked as part of this feature. You'll need to raise a ticket with our Customer Success team to get help setting up your SD records to support this feature. Transfer SD We've improved the Transfer SD feature to support the rerouting of billing. Users can now move SD records between service agreements that have different funding management. This feature does not allow the transfer of extracted SD records, including in environments set up to allow this type of transfer. This is to ensure that you make any necessary adjustments to your financial system before changing funding management. If you need to transfer extracted SD records to an agreement with different funding management:
Once you've unlinked the record, you'll be able to transfer it to the new agreement. |
SD Summary Report |
We’ve added a new SD Summary Report. With a single click from the NDIS or Other service agreement, users can access a report that paints a picture of the agreement’s billing history. This will make it easier to manage the impact of funding changes by clearly showing:
Providers can add additional columns to the report, but must not delete or rename it, or amend filters in the Edit Report screen. Deleting or renaming the report could break the connection to the service agreement functionality. Amending filters could affect the quality or accuracy of the data shown. Users require advanced level access to view the report. To make the report available to advanced users, a system administrator will also need to either:
SD records are grouped by funding management and sorted in ascending date order. SD records can be filtered by changing the date settings in the filter panel. Users can launch the report using the SD Summary Report button from NDIS or Other service agreements. |
Supported independent living (SIL) claiming |
We’ve improved SIL claiming to meet a recent NDIS compliance change. This will enable providers to accurately claim for weekly SIL services. We’ve updated the NDIS extract so that the Support Delivered To field in the CSV auto-populates with an accurate end date for SIL services with a unit of measure of weekly. This will ensure that claims reflect the full week long length of the service provided to the participant. The dates will be calculated by counting back from the date of the service delivered (SD) record. This means that:
Providers should set up recurring schedules for a SIL weekly service to begin at least 7 days after the service agreement’s start date. This will ensure that the service’s delivery dates fall within the agreement’s current period. Find out how to set up a funding schedule to claim a SIL weekly service. |

Monthly statement PDF |
