Following the release of Lumary 21, many significant improvements were included in Lumary 21 minor releases. These improvements are currently listed in our CM minor releases article.
Transfer SD
Transfer SD functionality has been improved to allow the transfer of service delivered (SD) records to matching service agreement items that have:
- different rates, or
- different funding management if SD records are not extracted.
If SD records have been extracted, and your environment allows the transfer of extracted records:
- they can be transferred to the same funding management, and
- they can now be unlinked from extracts if transferring to different funding management.
Matching logic has been uplifted to find the most appropriate transfer destination service agreement item based on:
- service
- site
- funding management
- claim type
- program, and
- service type.
Transfers are now possible to service agreements regardless of their status.
Check out our updated article to find out more about how to transfer SD records to a new service agreement.
NDIS short notice cancellation
We’ve improved support for clear business days under the NDIS’s short notice cancellation policies. Public holiday calendars can now be created and linked to sites. This means that the calculation of cancellation notice periods can exclude public holidays, as well as weekends.
Check out our list of services with a 2 day cancellation notice period that were added for the 1 July 2024 pricing updates.
Use the new public holiday calendars
We’ve added public holiday calendars for each state. They include public holidays up to March 2025 to help get you started. To use these calendars:
- each site that bills and/or claims for public holidays must be linked to the relevant public holiday calendar. Find out how to link a site to a public holiday calendar, and
- public holidays for Easter 2025 and onwards need to be added to each calendar. Find out how to add public holidays to a public holiday calendar.
Providers can also create new public holiday calendars.
NDIS centre capital costs
Cancelling a service with associated centre capital costs (CCCs) now sets the claim type value on the service delivered (SD) record to show as CANC in:
- the NDIS extract claim file, and
- Service Delivery Entry of SD records.
We’ve also fixed the creation of separate service agreement items with the Save & Add Centre Capital Cost button. The new item’s Start Date and End Date fields now auto-fill with the start and end dates from the previous service agreement item.
Rates
Users can now update values on non-NDIS rates without being prevented by a validation issue.
Services without active rates for the date of the service delivery are now filtered out on unrestricted categories when creating service delivered (SD) records from the Service Delivery Entry screen.
Sessions
Searching a client’s name when adding a session on the Sessions Calendar or editing a session record now also shows the client’s:
- date of birth
- NDIS Number and/or
- Aged Care Number.
This helps quickly identify different clients who have the same name.
When creating new sessions, workers without a linked user can now be selected, and workers whose start date is after the session date will not be available for selection.
Overclaim calculations now correctly consider negotiated rates when creating sessions.
File attachments
We’ve made it easier to quickly find uploaded and stored files that relate to a client or worker. Client and worker records can now include a view that shows files relating to the client or worker that have been stored against other record types. For example, this could include a client’s service agreement, consents and assessments. From this single location, users can see a range of files and filter down to specific file categories.
Find out how to view files linked to a client or worker’s record.
If your environment uses a customised client or worker record, find out how to add the tab and component to the record.
Case notes
Case note audit records now capture information from the enhanced Description field of the case note.
Skedulo
When cancelling a Skedulo Job, cancellation SD records will no longer generate outside of the linked service agreement item dates.
When creating a Skedulo job occurring on a service agreement item’s end date, an issue preventing the item from being available for selection has been fixed.
