This article explains how to view, accept and manage jobs in the Skedulo mobile app.
Jobs can be given to you in two different ways, depending on the resources available and the scheduling method chosen by the scheduler. This article covers viewing and managing:
- job offers, and
- assigned jobs.
Manage job offers
Schedulers may send out job offers to multiple workers if there several workers available for a job. If you claim a job offer, then the scheduler can assign it to you to deliver.
To check and claim a job offer:
- Open the Skedulo mobile app.
- Tap on the Offers tab on the bottom nav bar. There will be a red notification bubble over the Offers tab if there is an offer than needs to be responded to.
- Any jobs that you have been offered will be shown here. Click on the Claim button if you want to accept the job. If you don't want to do a job that has been offered, click the Decline button.
- Click on the new Claim Job button.
- Click on the Okay text link on the pop-up that appears confirming that the job claim has been sent.
- After claiming a job, the scheduler will need to review and approve it. Until this is done, the job offer will remain in the Open tab of the Job Offers window.
- Once the job claim has been approved, you will receive a notification reminding you of the date, time and location of the job. After tapping Close on this notification the job can be found in your Agenda.
Manage assigned jobs
Instead of offering jobs, schedulers can also assign jobs directly to you. These jobs will still need to be accepted or declined.
To check and accept jobs:
- Open the Skedulo mobile app.
- Tap on the Notifications tab on the bottom nav bar. There will be a red notification bubble over the Notifications tab if there is a job than needs to be responded to.
- Tap on the notification for the unaccepted job to open it.
- Tap on the Accept Job button to accept the job, otherwise tap on the Decline Job button.
- After accepting the job it will be added to your Agenda. No further action is required until you are scheduled or ready to start the job.
Now that you've claimed or accepted your jobs, find out how to deliver a job.
