This article explains how to transition users to the Lumary CM Mobile Experience.
Required packages and permissions
Available with: Lumary 22 minor release 2 and later.
Permission set: Lumary - CM Mobile User and Lumary - Custom Settings
Unfortunately, Salesforce has now advised us of platform security changes that give the legacy mobile app a hard cut-off date of 11 May 2026. After this point, the legacy app will stop working and there will be no further extension available.
If your team members are still using the legacy Lumary app, they will need to transition to the new app before 11 May 2026 to avoid losing mobile access.

Why transition?
The original Lumary App has reached end of life. It will no longer be supported, updated, or available for download via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
To ensure our customers have access to the most secure, reliable, and up-to-date mobile functionality, Lumary has launched the Lumary CM Mobile Experience, a new mobile solution fully aligned with the Lumary CM platform. This new experience is purpose-built to support shift and session management on the go and will continue to be supported and enhanced in line with platform developments.
We strongly encourage all providers currently using the Lumary App to begin transitioning their mobile users to the Lumary CM Mobile Experience.
Steps to transition your users

Update user Profiles and Permissions
Before users access the new mobile experience, it’s important to assign them the correct profile and permission sets to ensure they have secure, limited access only to what they need. Update users with the correct profiles and permissions to successfully access the Lumary CM Mobile Experience. -
Have users download the Salesforce App
The Lumary CM Mobile Experience runs through the Salesforce mobile app.- Download the Salesforce app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Once installed, users will log in using their Lumary credentials.

Support the transition period
The period to support a transition has ended, all users need to be set up and be using the new Lumary CM Mobile Experience via the Salesforce app by 11 May 2026 to avoid losing mobile access.
