Set the GST percentage for a GST code

This article explains how to set the GST percentage for a GST code.

The GST percentage is used to calculate GST and Amount inc GST values when creating or editing rates linked to the GST Code.

To set or update the GST percentage for a GST code:

1. Click on the App Launcher nine dot icon.
2. Click in the Search apps and items... field.
3. Type reference data.
4. Click on the Reference Data text link.
5. Click on the Select a List View drop-down list.
6. Select GST Codes.
7. Click on the name of the GST code.
8. Click on the pencil icon at the end of the GST Percentage field.
9. Type a number into the GST Percentage field. Set this to 0 if no GST should be applied.
10. Click on the Save button.
