This article explains how to control how travel and transport data is captured in the Lumary mobile app.
The functionality described in this article requires version 18.8.7 of the Lumary mobile app.
To enable or disable travel data capture in the Lumary mobile app:
- Click on the App Launcher.
- Click in the search bar and type Lumary Settings. Click on the Lumary Settings option in the drop-down list.
- Click on the Mobile App tab in Lumary Settings.
- Scroll down to the Travel and Transport section.
- Select the relevant option from the Travel & Transport in Mobile App drop-down list.

Enable data capture with gps travel tracking |
Selecting this option will allow Lumary mobile users to record their travel using their mobile device's GPS. This option will show the Start/Stop Travel buttons and the travel and transport form for all users in the Lumary mobile app. |
| Enable data capture without gps travel tracking |
Selecting this option will prevent mobile users from tracking their travel using their mobile device's GPS, but will allow them to enter the data manually at the end of the appointment. This option will hide the Start/Stop Travel buttons and show the travel and transport form for all users in the Lumary mobile app. |

Selecting this option will prevent mobile users from recording any travel or transport details. This option will hide the Start/Stop Travel buttons and the travel and transport form for all users in the Lumary mobile app. Selecting this option will also remove all of the checkboxes displayed below this drop-down in Lumary Settings. |
- If you selected either Enable data capture with gps travel tracking or Enable data capture without gps travel tracking then three checkboxes will appear below the drop-down menu. See this article for information on how these checkboxes impact the Lumary mobile app.
- After applying any changes to Lumary settings, click on the Save button.
