This article explains how to set a DEX case structure for individual or group-based reporting requirements.
The functionality in this article requires at least Lumary version 18. It also requires the activation of fields for capturing DEX requirements in your production environment.
The case structure for group sessions may depend on the requirements of the program. For most programs, there is no need to separate group sessions into separate cases. By default, the Lumary system will report each session in a single case based on the service agreement item (SAI) from the block service agreement. The case id will use the SAI number.
However, services in some programs, like ICSS, require separate cases for each person that attended a group session. If most of the services in the program use the same rate type, you can set the rate type to report group sessions individually. The case id uses the client's funded client (FSCC) number from the service agreement.

If a service within a rate type needs to be set up to report groups differently than the rest of the rate type, you can set the case structure on the service.
