This article provides a list of the different alerts that can be displayed on a client's contact record. It also provides links to articles that explain where to add this information.
Important information about a client can be set to display at the top of their contact record. If you're using the Sessions Calendar, an alert icon will also be displayed next to the client's name on the session details panel. This makes it more visible to workers who may need to access or consider the information during their interactions with the client.
This article includes:
- a brief overview of the type of information that can be displayed, and
- a list of the different types of alerts.
Alerts can only be displayed on client or intake contact records. They will not appear on any custom contact records that have been added to your environment.
Alerts overview
The type of information that can be displayed as an alert includes:
- potential risks to themselves and others
- who to contact and how to contact them
- health conditions
- consents and legal information, and
- summaries from goal achievement and/or personal support plans.
Displaying an alert usually requires:
- a tick in the Display As Alert field, and
- text or other information to be added to the Alert Summary field or whichever field is displayed on the client's contact record.
